What the Juni app collects
The Charm measures heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), skin temperature and daily activity rhythm, and sends these readings to the Juni app on your phone over Bluetooth.
- Your health data is stored on your phone.
- It is not sent to Juni's servers, and we can't see it.
- If a future version of the app offers syncing to Apple Health or a backup service, it will be off by default and we'll update this policy first.
- The app may send anonymous crash reports and device info (app version, phone model) so we can fix bugs. These never include your health readings.
Deleting the app deletes the health data stored by the app on your phone.
Health data
We treat your health readings as sensitive. We use them only to show you your own data in the app. We don't sell them, share them with advertisers or data brokers, or use them to make decisions about you. We'll ask for your consent before collecting or sharing health data in any way not described here.
How we use your information
- To process reservations, payments, shipping, returns and warranty claims.
- To send transactional emails (deposit receipt, balance invoice, shipping updates).
- To send marketing emails, only if you've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the site and products, using aggregate analytics.
- To comply with the law and prevent fraud.
Sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers named above, our shipping carrier (to deliver your order), and our professional advisers, or when the law requires it. If Juni is sold or merges with another company, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy. We don't sell or "share" personal information for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years). We keep marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregate and isn't tied to you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, or to stop marketing emails, by emailing contact@thejunicollection.com. We'll respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we honor them, and you can appeal a decision by replying to our response.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you as the law requires if a breach affects you.
Children
The site and app are not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll email customers before they take effect.
